H.W. Warner and others letter, 1834 May 30, to Truman Smith.

A letter addressed to Truman Smith from four men of Plymouth, Connecticut, objecting to the nomination of Samuel Garnsey, John C. Lewis and William P. Judson as justices. Their major objection was that Garnsey and Lewis were Jackson men. They also accused Smith of changing his mind after an agreement had been reached with the four men writing the letter. The men who signed the letter, in addition to Warner, were Leverett Bishop, Henry L. Harrington and Lucius Bradley.
